For parents and guardians
Protect their phone.
Don't read their messages.
One plan covers you and up to four young people aged 13–17. Porn and gambling stop loading on their devices, you can see that the shield is on, and you cannot see what they look at. That last part is not a limitation we are apologising for — it is the design.

What you'll see, and what you won't
Most parental software sells you a window into your child's private life. We think that costs more than it buys — a young person who knows they are being read learns to hide, not to choose well. So here is the whole list, both halves of it.
You can see
- Whether their protection is on right now
- How many of their devices are linked
- Their profile name and age, as you entered them
- Your own billing and how many seats you have used
You cannot see
- What they browse — no history, no visited sites, ever
- Their messages, photos, or anything inside another app
- A list of what got blocked, or when
- Their location
None of these are settings you could switch on. We do not collect them, so there is nothing to show you.
Their phone tells them the same thing, in the same words, before it links: “Your guardian can see that your protection is on — never what you look at, never your private notes.” A child who knows exactly where the line is drawn is far likelier to leave the shield alone.
Who a household plan covers
One guardian and up to four young people — 5 profiles on one bill. Managed profiles are for ages 13 to 17.
- Under 13
- We can't hold an account for a child that young — that is a line in the law, and no wording gets around it. The shield itself is free, so it can go on a device you set up and keep control of. That protects them today, at no cost.
- 18 and over
- They need their own account, which is free. Honestly, that holds better anyway — protection someone chooses lasts longer than protection handed down.
- More than four
- Email us before you pay and we'll tell you honestly whether we can help.
Where it actually reaches
You are about to rely on this. So here is the map before you buy, including the part of it that is empty.
Their phone or tablet
Every app and every browser on it
The app runs the filter on the device itself, so a blocked site never loads — not in Safari, not in Chrome, not inside another app. This is where the real protection is.
Their laptop
Chrome and Edge only
A browser extension, covering the browser you install it in. Another browser, or anything outside the browser, is not covered. We would rather you knew that now than discovered it later.
Your home router
Not supported
We removed router setup because it failed quietly — a phone doing its own encrypted DNS walked straight through it, and you would never have known. Guard each device instead.
Setting up a young person's device
Add their profile
Their name, an email for their sign-in, and their date of birth. Ages 13 to 17 — the date of birth is checked on our server, not just in the form.
Generate a family code
A one-time code, good for 48 hours. You read it out; we only ever store a hash of it, so we cannot show it to you twice.
They enter it, knowing what it does
Before the device links, their phone shows them exactly what will be blocked and exactly what you will be able to see. They tap to agree. Nothing about NurGuard is hidden on their phone.
What we can't promise you
A determined teenager can delete the app. No software on earth prevents that. What NurGuard does is make it loud — the filter checks in around the clock, and when it goes silent, tamper detection raises the alarm within hours. It cannot stay quiet for long.
The filter works on domains, not on what sits inside a page. A blocked site never loads; something haram posted on a site you allow is not a thing any filter can catch for you.
This is protection, not surveillance, and that is a deliberate trade. If you want to read your child’s messages, NurGuard is the wrong product and we would rather say so here than take your money.
$77 a month, for the whole house
5 profiles — you and up to four young people. Cancel in one click from your settings, and if it isn't right, email us within 14 days for a full refund.
Is it their father you're worried about, not the children? That's a different page — an adult has to choose this themselves, and there is an honest way to help him get there.
Only protecting yourself? See the individual plans — and the blocking itself is free either way.
