Why this is halal — and why it's not an MLM

Written for the skeptical. If money and deen are going to sit in the same sentence, you deserve to see exactly how.

How every dollar flows

NurGuard Shield costs $33 a month. Every payment splits the same way, every time:

60% runs the company

Servers, the blocking network, development, support — the machinery that keeps the shield standing.

30% goes to whoever referred you

If someone brought you here, 30% of every payment you make is his — on your first month and every renewal, for as long as you stay. If nobody referred you, that share stays with the company.

10% is reserved as sadaqah

Set aside from every single payment for the Masjid Builder initiative. Not profits-if-any — every payment, off the top.

Why it isn't a pyramid

A pyramid pays people for recruiting recruiters. This pays one level, once, for one thing: a real sale of a real product.

  • One level, ever. You earn on people you personally refer. You earn nothing from the people they refer. There is no downline, no team, no "building your organization."
  • Money comes from product sales only. No signup fees, no starter kits, no inventory, no paying for training. The only money in the system is subscribers paying for a subscription they use.
  • Refunds claw commissions back. If a subscriber takes the 14-day money-back guarantee, the commission on his payment is reversed. Every commission is held 30 days before it can be withdrawn — deliberately longer than the refund window — so nobody profits from a sale that didn't stick.
  • Your $33 always buys the product, never the opportunity. You can refer people before you've paid a cent — but pre-membership earnings only fund your own membership. Cash only ever flows to active, protected members. Nobody is "buying in" to an income scheme, and nobody collects money from NurGuard Shield without the shield up on their own phone.

What we will never tell you

We will never show you income projections, lifestyle promises, or "imagine if you referred 100 people" math. The one number we publish, because it's a fact of the mechanics: at 30% of $33, four referrals ($9.90 each) more than covers your own subscription. What anyone earns beyond that depends entirely on their own work, and most affiliates should expect modest results. Affiliates are required — by our certification and our terms — to disclose their link and to make no earnings claims. Break that rule and payouts stop.

Why it isn't an investment

Nobody hands us capital expecting profit from our efforts. Commission is payment for work you actively do — telling someone about something that helped you, with your own voice, on your own time. No tokens, no equity, no interest, no passive returns. If you stop working, the only money you receive is from subscribers you already personally referred, for as long as they choose to stay.

The fiqh

  • Commission for brokerage is established. Paying a person for bringing a buyer (ju'alah / samsarah) is a recognized, permissible transaction in fiqh — a defined reward for a defined piece of work.
  • No gharar. The terms are fully transparent: 30% of each real payment, held 30 days, reversed on refund. Nothing is hidden, nothing is uncertain by design.
  • No riba, anywhere. No interest, no credit, no late fees, no financing — not in the product, not in the affiliate program, not in the company.
  • Sadaqah is structural, not decorative. 10% of every payment is reserved for masjid infrastructure before anything else is counted.

We're pursuing formal review of this model by named scholars. Until that's done, we won't claim an endorsement we don't have — instead, the full reasoning is here in the open, so you can judge it, and so can your imam. If he sees a problem we don't, we genuinely want the email.

Ask us anything

The full legal terms are in the affiliate terms. If something here doesn't sit right with you, write to us — scrutiny makes this stronger, and we built it to be scrutinized.
