Affiliate program terms
Last updated: August 2026
These terms govern the NurGuard affiliate program. They are part of our Terms of service — by generating a referral code or sharing your referral link, you agree to both. We wrote these in plain language on purpose: you should be able to read them once and know exactly how the program works.
1. Eligibility
The affiliate program is for adult NurGuard account holders — you must be 18 or older and hold a real account in your own name. One person, one account, one referral code; operating multiple accounts to collect multiple commissions is prohibited.
A managed youth profile (ages 13–17) can never participate: no referral code, no commission, no payout. This is enforced on our servers, not just in these terms. We never ask a child to refer or recruit anyone.
2. Commissions
You earn 30% of each payment attributed to you — credited on the referred member’s initial subscription and on every renewal, for as long as they stay subscribed. On the $33 monthly plan that is $9.90 per month per active referral; on the $77 household plan it is $23.10 per month.
Attribution works simply and is link-based: when someone subscribes within 90 days of arriving through your referral link (nurguard.com/affiliate/your-code), their payments are attributed to you. The program has one level — you earn on people you refer directly, and never on referrals made by other affiliates. There are no recruitment tiers, no downlines, and no overrides.
3. Hold and clearing
Each commission is held for 30 days before it clears. The hold exists because every new subscriber has a 14-day money-back guarantee — the 30-day hold lets most refunds and chargebacks settle before a commission ever clears.
Where a referred payment carries unusual chargeback risk — a brand-new account with no track record, or a pattern consistent with fraud — we may hold the related commission for up to 120 days, the full window in which a card network allows a dispute. This is a delay, never a forfeiture: the commission clears on its own once the risk window passes or the payment proves genuine, and nothing about it is discretionary or appealed case by case.
A full refund or a chargeback on a referred payment reverses the entire commission for that payment, whenever it arrives — including after the commission has cleared or been paid out. A partial refund does not: a goodwill credit or a proration leaves the brother a paying member, so it leaves your commission, the Sadaqah Reserve, and his subscription intact. We would rather absorb that than wipe a whole $9.90 commission over a few dollars credited back.
The hold catches most reversals early; a late chargeback is the exception, and when one lands after a payout the amount is netted against your future balance — it never becomes a debt you owe us in cash. Your portal shows what has been clawed back and why, so a commission never simply disappears. A plain cancellation without a refund does not reverse anything: the commission on months already paid still clears. Only cleared commissions count toward payout.
4. Payouts
The minimum payout is a $50 cleared balance.
Where we can pay you automatically, payouts are made by transfer to a Stripe Connect Express account in your name, and you must complete Stripe’s onboarding — identity verification and tax information — before any payout can be sent. Stripe supports this for 34 countries: the United States, the United Kingdom, Canada, Switzerland and the EEA. You choose your payout country before onboarding and it cannot be changed afterwards.
If you are outside those countries, there is no automatic payout rail — not a policy of ours, but a limit of what Stripe opens to a US platform. Your commissions still accrue, still clear, and are still owed to you exactly the same way. They are paid manually instead: reach the $50 minimum, email [email protected], and we arrange the transfer by hand and record it against your balance. This is slower than an automatic deposit and it starts with you asking rather than a button in the portal. We would rather say that plainly than let you find it out after doing the work.
Payout eligibility also requires passing the one-time affiliate certification — a short quiz on the disclosure and honest-claims rules in these terms. Your link works and commissions accrue before certification; they simply cannot be withdrawn until you pass. If the certification course is updated, you may be asked to re-certify before further payouts. Payouts are also suspended while a violation of the disclosure or conduct rules (Sections 6–7) is under review or upheld; commissions already earned remain on your balance unless reversed.
Payouts are for active, protected members. Two conditions are checked at the moment you withdraw — and only then:
- Active membership. Cash only flows to members in good standing. If your membership has lapsed, reactivate it to withdraw.
- Your own shield on. Your NurGuard protection must be verifiably live on at least one of your own devices. We check the protection state your device reports, and we may additionally require independent confirmation from our own network that your traffic is genuinely routing through NurGuard rather than relying on what your phone tells us. The person recommending the shield keeps it up themselves; we do not pay you to promote protection you have switched off. This is the amanah of the program.
Neither condition ever reduces, delays, or removes a commission you have already earned. They gate the act of withdrawing, not the earning: if your shield is off or your membership has lapsed when you request a payout, your cleared balance simply waits, untouched, until you meet the condition and try again. We apply this going forward only — it is never used to claw back commissions already paid or cleared.
Payout limits rise as your account builds a clean history, protecting the program from fraud:
- Until your first completed payout: up to $500 in any rolling 30-day period
- After at least one clean, completed payout: up to $5,000 in any rolling 30-day period
- Once your account is at least 90 days old with at least 3 clean, completed payouts and fewer than 3 disputes in your referred cohort: no cap
These tiers are computed automatically from your account state — you graduate without asking. If 3 or more chargebacks occur among the members you referred, payouts are paused automatically pending a manual review.
5. Taxes
You participate as an independent contractor and are responsible for your own taxes. Tax information is collected before your first payout, either way.
Where Stripe pays you automatically, Stripe collects and holds it during payout onboarding and we never see or store it. Where Stripe cannot reach and we pay you by hand instead, there is no Stripe onboarding to collect anything — so we collect the form ourselves and hold it, for tax records only. It is never used for anything else and never shared except where the law requires.
If you are a US person, your details are collected on a W-9 equivalent, and where IRS rules require it a Form 1099-NEC is filed using the taxpayer information you provided. You must report your commission income regardless of whether a form is issued.
If you are not a US person, you certify your foreign status on a Form W-8BEN (or W-8BEN-E for an entity) instead, and you will not receive a 1099. Referral work you perform outside the United States is generally not US-source income, so US withholding normally does not apply — but you remain responsible for the tax obligations of your own jurisdiction. Nothing here is tax advice; talk to a tax professional about your specific situation.
6. Disclosure duty
US law (the FTC Endorsement Guides) requires you to clearly and conspicuously disclose that you earn a commission — on every post, story, video, or message that contains your link, not just the first one. The disclosure must be visible before someone clicks: not buried in a bio, behind a “more” fold, or lost in a pile of hashtags.
Accepted forms of disclosure:
- “#ad” placed where it is plainly visible
- “I earn a commission if you sign up through my link.”
- “This is my referral link — I’m paid when you subscribe through it.”
Your code is yours alone, but the responsibility travels with it. If anyone promotes with your link — your child, a family member, a friend you’ve asked to help — you are answerable for what is said under your code. Every rule here applies to their posts as if they were your own: the same disclosure, on every post, and the conduct limits in section 7. You remain the sole account holder, the only person we pay, and the party responsible to the FTC for those disclosures.
This is the one way a young person may take part. A teen who wants to help spread NurGuard does so under a parent or guardian’s account and code — never their own, since a managed youth profile can never earn (section 1). The adult holds the account, receives every commission, and files the taxes. What you then choose to share with your family is between you and them; it is not something NurGuard tracks or administers.
Honest disclosure is not just the law — it is amanah, the plain dealing our deen requires in trade. Repeated failure to disclose can end your participation.
7. Prohibited conduct
When promoting NurGuard, you may not:
- Refer yourself, or route your own subscription through your own code
- Create fake accounts, or use stolen or unauthorized payment instruments
- Send spam or unsolicited bulk email or messages of any kind
- Text or call anyone about NurGuard who hasn’t personally given you their number and agreed to hear from you — no cold texts, ever. Unsolicited commercial texts can carry statutory penalties of $500–$1,500 per message under the TCPA, and you alone bear that liability
- Use purchased, scraped, or rented contact lists, or any auto-dialer or bulk-texting tool. Automated DMs are permitted only to people who explicitly asked to receive your link (for example, by commenting a keyword on your post), and every automated message must carry your disclosure
- Bid on “NurGuard” or confusingly similar terms in search advertising
- Post your link on coupon, deal, or discount-code sites
- Pay or otherwise incentivize anyone to click your link or subscribe
- Make misleading or exaggerated claims about the product — including that filtering is guaranteed or blocks everything, which we ourselves do not claim
- Make earnings claims or income projections of any kind on our behalf
- Impersonate NurGuard or present yourself as our employee or representative
- Reveal, imply, or shame any person’s struggle or their use of NurGuard without their written consent — a brother’s privacy is not yours to spend, and this is the one line that ends participation immediately
Commissions earned through fraudulent or prohibited activity are forfeited, and we may end your participation.
8. Brand assets
We grant you a limited, revocable, non-transferable license to use the marketing materials we provide in the share kit, only to promote NurGuard under these terms. You may not edit or restyle our logo, create derivative marks, or use our brand in ways that suggest partnership or endorsement beyond the affiliate relationship. We can revoke this license at any time.
9. No earnings guarantee
We make no promise about what you will earn. Commissions depend entirely on whether people subscribe through your link, stay subscribed, and do not refund. Many affiliates will earn little or nothing. Anything we publish about commission math is arithmetic, not a projection of your results.
10. Relationship
You participate as an independent contractor. You are not an employee, agent, partner, or joint venturer of Rizq Labs AI LLC, and you have no authority to make commitments on our behalf.
11. Indemnification
You are responsible for how you promote. You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Rizq Labs AI LLC from any claim, penalty, or loss (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising from your own promotional conduct — including unsolicited texts or calls (TCPA and similar statutes), missing disclosures, prohibited claims, or any other violation of these terms or applicable law. Promote the way these terms describe and this section never touches you.
12. Changes and termination
We may change commission rates or end the program with 30 days’ notice. Cleared commissions not subject to a refund or chargeback will be honored — a refund or chargeback still reverses the related commission whenever it arrives, as described in section 3. Commissions connected to fraud or prohibited conduct are forfeited, whether held or cleared. If you believe a commission was handled incorrectly, raise it with [email protected] within 60 days of the statement in question.
13. Governing law
These affiliate terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, USA, and are read together with our Terms of service. Where the two differ on affiliate matters, these terms control. Questions: [email protected]
